- Had to find said watch, which was eventually located under my dresser?
- Was having to reset the time in the first place!
- Couldn't remember how to adjust the settings.
Then, BAM! I hit user settings, and it said the weight that I supposedly am. But I'm not. You see, when we first got the watches we had to set our weight so that it could determine calories burned, yadda yadda. We got the watches in late December. It is now early April. That's just a little over three months. And I've gained just a little over six pounds. No, not pounds of sheer muscles but pounds of plain ol' Jane poundage. And yes, I know we shouldn't determine health/fitness/happiness by numbers, but let's be real folks--I was not telling myself the truth, and the truth reared its ugly head.
I'm being dramatic when I say rock bottom, but it surely does hurt. So I put on my big girl pants and these neat socks my sister gave me, and I did a work out. For the first time, in quite some time. Lesson learned--stop kidding yourself.
